Behind the Announcer's Desk

Dex Alvarado is an invented late-night sports announcer, which means he has no trophies, no pension and no sense of proportion. He believes a first hello deserves the same hysteria as a last-second goal, and he is prepared to lose his voice proving it. Every number you see here, every clipboard percentage and every made-up league rule, is Dex improvising at full volume. None of it is research, and all of it is affection.

The format is simple. Each matchup is played in rounds: the opening line, the banter, the tension and the aftercare. Points are awarded loudly and without appeal. When the score is level we go to the tie-break round, where one extra exchange decides everything. It is built for readers who like their flirtation fast, funny and a little competitive, with enough heat to keep the stadium warm and nothing that crosses the line into explicit.

The contenders are AI characters from TheFriend, and we never pretend otherwise. Elvan, Deniz and Kaya are not real people, and the commentary here is theater wrapped around what the catalogue actually offers, such as voice confessions and short romance dramas. If a scene makes you curious, TheFriend is where you can hear the voice, meet the character and carry the story on at your own pace.
